I have been tattooing for 12 years. I love doing more detailed pieces and photo realism. I started tattooing with a love and passion for art, that has continued to grow over the years.
I have been truly blessed to work with so many incredible people, and for the ability to also help some through difficult time in their lives during the tattoo process.
I love doing custom work and helping to cultivate someones ideas into their perfect tattoo, and look forward to working with you!
I have always had a passion for art and from a young age knew that it was what I wanted to do as a career. Twelve years ago | found my niche in the tattoo industry. I enjoy being a tattoo artist because every day is different. There is always something new to learn.
I Found that my personal favorite style to tattoo is photo- realism. I enjoy getting to meet new people and hear their stories behind why they chose their specific piece. I love taking an idea and making it a custom piece of art.
We get a lot of phone calls and emails about general tattoo inquiries, so feel free to contact us at 319-274-9050 with any questions. Here’s a few that we hear the most:
Leave the bandage on for half an hour to an hour. Wash hands, then wash your tattoo gently with warm water and anti-bacterial soap.
Rinse thoroughly with cold water.
Air dry, or pat dry with a paper towel.
DO NOT use a wash cloth or hand towel, the fibers tend to hold bacteria.
Leave tattoo alone for the remainder of the day. Starting the next day, apply a THIN layer of Aquaphor or Tattoo Goo 2-3 times a day, until the skin resumes its normal texture. ALWAYS wash your hands and the tattoo before applying anything to your tattoo!
DO NOT re bandage after the initial bandage provided by artist. DO NOT pick, scratch, or peel any loose skin or scabs.
DO NOT soak your tattoo in water until it is fully healed. (No baths, hot tubs, pools, rivers, etc.)
No direct sunlight until completely healed. Once healed, using sunscreen over the tattoo will help protect the tattoo from fading. If there are any signs of infection including; excessive redness, excessive tenderness, and excessive seeping, please contact a physician.
When preparing for a new tattoo, it is always good to eat before hand and stay well hydrated.
Taking ibuprofen before hand can help lower swelling.
Do not get tattooed if you are currently sick or taking antibiotics. The tattoo process can lower your immune system making you more sick. It can also draw the antibiotics away from where they are supposed to be working,
Staying as relaxed as possible will make your experience more positive and fun.
